On 10 June in Rotterdam,  European Boating Industry organized the General Assembly.

At the meeting the new Board was elected. New President was Robert Marx - owner of Marx Technik and President of the BVWW. He succeeds in this position Conyn Fritz - owner of Contest Yachts. To The Council also entered:

1. Alan Morgan (British Marine Federation) - the position of Vice President and Treasurer
2. Lolenzo SELVA (UCINA) - the position of Vice President
3. Fritz CONYN (HISWA)
4. Knut Heiberg-Andersen (NORBOAT)
5. Jouko HUJU (FINNBOAT)
6. Piotr JASIONOWSKI (POLBOAT)
7. Yves LYON-CAEN (FEDERATION DES INDUSTRIES NAUTIQUES)
8. Peeter SÄÄSK (ASSOCIATION OF ESTONIAN BOATYARDS)

"The presence of POLBOAT representative on the Board of such an important European association based in Brussels, allows for active participation in the control of the European Parliament's legislative work on issues of the sector, as well as strengthen our position in the international arena and enables defend Polish boating industry, which is after all one of the the largest in Europe.

This only confirms the fact that we have proved that Poland is an important part of the market "
